What We Collect
Fiesta! Bingo is a privacy-first application. All user data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts, cloud databases, or data collection servers. The only data transmitted externally is: • Game state data during Global Party multiplayer sessions (via our Cloudflare relay — not stored permanently) • Session reconnection handshake data when restoring dropped connections (not stored permanently) • iCloud backup data (if you choose to enable this feature — stored in your personal iCloud account) • Purchase and subscription transaction data (processed through Apple StoreKit — subject to Apple's Privacy Policy) On-Device Processing: All image processing (OCR card scanning, adaptive thresholding, image preprocessing), text-to-speech synthesis, card generation, pattern matching, and win verification occur entirely on your device. No images, audio, or game content is transmitted to external servers for processing. Temporary Files: The App may create temporary image files during OCR card scanning for preprocessing purposes. These files are automatically deleted immediately after processing and are never transmitted externally. Advertising: If you are using the free, ad-supported version, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve relevant advertisements. This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers do not see ads and this data collection does not apply to them. We do not use analytics SDKs or any form of user behavior tracking beyond what is described above.
Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions, all of which are optional: • Camera — QR code scanning, card number recognition (OCR with on-device preprocessing), and multi-lens support • Microphone — Custom voice pack recording • Photo Library — Selecting images for cards/profiles and saving exports (PDFs, screenshots) • Contacts — Importing friends as Bingo Buddies (data stays entirely on device) • Calendar — Adding bingo event reminders • Local Network — Multiplayer game sessions over WiFi (mDNS discovery and WebSocket communication) • Face ID / Touch ID — Optional app security lock • Notifications — Local event reminders (no push notifications from external servers) • App Tracking Transparency — Requested to allow personalized advertisements in the free tier. Declining this prompt does not affect app functionality; ads will still appear but will be less relevant You can revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings. The App will continue to function with reduced functionality if permissions are denied.
Data Retention & Deletion
All data is stored locally and persists until you: • Delete specific data within the App (game history, cards, buddies, badges, voice packs, etc.) • Clear all App data via Settings • Use the data export/import feature to back up or transfer your data • Delete the App from your device Session persistence data (used for reconnection and game resumption) expires automatically after 24 hours. Temporary processing files (created during OCR card scanning) are deleted automatically immediately after use. iCloud backups must be deleted separately through your iCloud account settings. Lincoln Studios LLC does not retain any user data on its servers beyond the duration of active multiplayer sessions.
